Process

How we work

  1. 01
    Scope the requirement

We take a written brief on the site, route or principal to be covered and the threat picture as the client understands it.

  2. 02
    Survey and assess

Our team visits the site or drives the route to confirm access, vulnerabilities and manpower needed.

  3. 03
    Propose and agree

We issue a written proposal covering manning levels, equipment, reporting lines and cost before any deployment begins.

  4. 04
    Deploy and supervise

Officers are deployed under a named supervisor with a documented reporting and incident escalation process.

  5. 05
    Review

We review performance against the agreed scope with the client at intervals set out in the contract.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which parts of Zambia and the DRC does Eagle Star Group cover?

We operate across the Zambian Copperbelt, the DRC Copperbelt around Lubumbashi and Kolwezi, and the Lobito Corridor route connecting these regions to the coast.

Are your officers licensed to carry firearms?

Armed postings are staffed with licensed armed officers who meet the statutory requirements of the jurisdiction in which they are deployed. Licence detail is provided to clients on request.

Can you cover both sides of the Zambia to DRC border under one contract?

Yes. We coordinate mine site security, convoy escort and executive protection as a single scope so that a shipment or a principal is covered continuously across the border rather than handed between separate providers.

How quickly can a new site or route be assessed?

A site or route survey can usually be scheduled within days of an enquiry, subject to access permissions from the client and any host mine.

Do you work directly for mining companies or only through contractors?

We contract directly with mining companies, logistics operators and their principals, and we also support prime contractors who need a licensed security subcontractor on the Copperbelt.
